South Waterfront
The South Waterfront Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) is a trained volunteer arm of the Portland Bureau of Emergency Management (PBEM), responsible for providing emergency assistance to save lives and property in its assigned area when deployed by PBEM, until the arrival of professional responders. This NET covers the area from the Ross Island Bridge at the north to and including the south side of Bancroft on the South, and from Interstate 5 on the west to the Willamette River on the east.
MEETINGS
We meet the first Thursday of every month at 7pm in the Park View Room at Mirabella Portland, 3550 SW Bond Ave, Portland OR 97239. All are welcome – you don’t need to be a trained NET volunteer to attend. (Once or twice a year when Mirabella is not available, we meet at Gray’s Landing, 650 SW Lowell St, Portland, one block north of Bancroft, at the corner of SW Bond.)
